The CRA is pleased to announce that the Arthritis Research Foundation will be funding two new awards for Young Investigators, one for Basic Science and one for Clinical Research. These awards will be presented at the CRA Annual Scientific Meeting in Ottawa in 2013, and more details will be available at the upcoming conference.
The funding for these awards is made possible through the Arthritis Research Foundation’s Power of Movement yoga fundraising event. This event brings together people from across Canada to celebrate movement, while raising funds for critical research.
The event takes place on March 4th in 19 locations across Canada, and for more information, please visit http://www.powerofmovement.ca

The CRA has developed new 2011 recommendations for the pharmacological management of RA that take into consideration Canada’s current healthcare environment. Content includes focused treatment guidance and detailed information on the safety aspects of the pharmacological management of RA. Members may send questions to raguidelines@rheum.ca.
La SCR a élaboré de nouvelles recommandations en 2011 sur la prise en charge pharmacologique de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde qui tiennent compte du système de santé actuel au Canada. Le contenu comprend des orientations thérapeutiques ciblées et des informations détaillées sur les aspects de sécurité liés au traitement pharmacologique de la polyarthrite rhumatoïde.
