This award encourages CRA members to develop innovative and practical self-assessment programs and quality improvement (QI) initiatives.
Are you currently conducting a QI project? If so, consider applying for the Practice Reflection Award!
Program Overview
Self-reflection programs can often lead to practice change better than conventional learning modalities. Chart audits and other methods of practice reflection & self-assessment have been proven successful in achieving Competency Based Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada recognizes the value of self-assessment programs, through Section 3 credits, and emphasizes the importance of incorporating these types of activities in members’ Continuing Professional Development.
