In this session we will discuss the common COVID-19 controversies in rheumatic disease patient management with reflections on the evolving evidence base and offer practical guidance around current best pandemic practices for these patients. In addition, COVID-19 risk, vaccination, and therapies will be discussed through the lens of answering common patient questions.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- explain COVID-19 vaccine safety at a level appropriate to a rheumatologic patient
- describe expected COVID-19 vaccine protection at a level appropriate to a rheumatologic patient
