Students & Residents
Rheumatologists are in high demand in Canada. This specialty offers a wide range of exciting experiences and opportunities in various practice settings across the country. Rheumatology is a rapidly evolving field, which has seen expansive growth in new and improved therapeutic options and tools to facilitate improved outcomes in the multitude of inflammatory conditions seen within the practice realm.
Those in the field collectively cite two primary motivators that fuel their professional passion: the ability to have a meaningful impact on a patient’s quality of life and the exposure to such a broad and interesting array of medical conditions.
Read about “Rheumatology an in-demand career choice” in the June 2015 issue of CMAJ.
