Canadian Fibromyalgia Guidelines

The 2012 Canadian guidelines for the diagnosis, management, and patient trajectory for fibromyalgia reflect changes in paradigm that have occured over the past two decades. Developed by a multidisciplinary group, these guidelines address new concepts in the understanding and management of this condition. No longer should fibromyalgia be an enigma, but rather recognized as a valid condition with treatment strategies that are aimed to reduce symptoms and maintain function.
