Presented on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 by Carrie Barnes, Eileen Davidson, Dr. Glen Hazlewood, Dr. Susan Bartlett
Join us for a panel discussion with COVID-19 Vaccination Guidelines lead Dr. Glen Hazlewood, clinical psychologist Dr. Susan J Bartlett, and RA patients Carrie Barnes and Eileen Davidson. This webinar will explore the direct and indirect effects of the three waves of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as stringent and variable restrictions imposed in Canada on patients with rheumatic diseases. Learn first-hand how COVID-19 has affected them physically, emotionally, and socially over this past year and for the foreseeable future. Patients will share their experiences and impart lessons learned regarding access to care, medications, virtual care, and questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccination. From these narratives, you will better understand the issues that are most concerning for patients with rheumatic diseases and learn how you can continue to best assist your patients during these uncertain times.
